1. What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device (computer, phone, tablet) through your browser. Cookies let a site remember information about your visit — for example, that you're logged in, or which language you've selected — so it doesn't have to ask again on the next page.
2. Cookies We Use
We keep cookie use to what the Platform actually needs to run and to understand how it's used. We use two categories:
- — Strictly necessary — keep you logged in, remember your session, and remember your language selection (session/auth cookie, language preference cookie). You can't opt out of these; the Platform won't work correctly without them.
- — Analytics — help us understand traffic and usage patterns so we can improve the service (Google Analytics, Yandex Metrica). You can opt out of these via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
We do not currently use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll update this page and the cookie banner before any new cookie type is set.
3. Third-Party Cookies
Our analytics cookies are set by third-party providers, not by us directly:
- — Google Analytics — see Google's Privacy & Terms
- — Yandex Metrica — see Yandex's Privacy Policy
These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies. We only receive aggregated usage statistics from them — not your browsing activity on other sites.
4. How Long Cookies Last
- — Session cookies (login, language) are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- — Analytics cookies are persistent and can stay on your device for up to 2 years (Google Analytics) or up to 1 year (Yandex Metrica), unless you clear them sooner.
5. Managing or Disabling Cookies
You can control cookies in two ways:
- — Our cookie banner — choose which non-essential categories to allow when you first visit the site. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookies and reloading the page.
- — Your browser settings — every major browser lets you block or delete cookies (see your browser's help pages: Chrome, Firefox, Safari).
Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from staying logged in and may break parts of the Platform. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on how the Platform works for you.
6. Legal Basis
For strictly necessary cookies, our legal basis is that they're required to provide the service you've requested. For analytics cookies, our legal basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner — you can withdraw it at any time by changing your cookie settings. This Policy is intended to comply with the EU GDPR and ePrivacy rules, Russian Federal Law No. 152-FZ, and applicable US privacy laws, consistent with our main Privacy Policy.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy if the cookies we use change. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date, and we'll prompt the cookie banner again if we start using a new non-essential cookie category.
